What solar-ready wiring includes
Dedicated inverter circuit, AC isolator, labelled ways in the switchboard, and a clear path for DC from the roof. If you are adding a battery later, space and cable capacity are left so you are not ripping the board out twice. That is the whole point of doing it while the walls are open.
New Oran Park and Gregory Hills builds are the easy version of this job. Established homes in Harrington Park and Narellan are a retrofit, still doable, just more labour.
Pre-wire vs retrofit
Pre-wire during construction is a fraction of the cost of chasing finished plaster. If you are building in 2570 and solar is on the five-year plan, put the circuits in now. Retrofit means roof penetrations, external conduit and often a switchboard upgrade because the original board has no spare ways.
Battery storage connections
Hybrid inverters and wall batteries need their own isolators and a board that can take the extra load. The wiring allows for that even if the battery is not in this year's budget. Pairing solar-ready work with an EV charger installation in Oran Park is common: one isolation, both circuits in.
Cost guide
Pre-wire on a new build is typically a few hundred dollars extra on the electrical package. Retrofit inverter circuits on a finished home depend on cable length and board work. You get a quote for the actual run, not a catalogue price.
We work across the Oran Park and Camden service area.
